Chemonics International seeks Data Enumerators (06) for its USAID Small and Medium Enterprises Activity (SMEA). Pakistan SMEA is a 5-year, $35 million project that is aimed at improvement of financial and operating performance of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Pakistan in selected high-performing industrial, manufacturing and services sectors.
Data Enumerators:
Under the direct supervision of the Competitiveness Enhancement Component Lead or his designee, enumerators are required to conduct interviews with SMEs and other selected stakeholders such as training service providers.
Other duties and responsibilities include:
- Must fill in interview questionnaires with complete, accurate and logical information
- Must sign and date the filled in questionnaire
- Must enter data in provided entry program.
Duty Post: The positions will be based in Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad and other regional locations.
Duration: 22 LOE Days for one enumerator.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Education: Bachelor's in Business Administration, Economics or another relevant discipline
- Minimum Experience: At one year of data collection experience in research techniques such as questionnaire administration and Experience in research techniques such as questionnaire administration and conducting focus group discussions (FGDs).
- Good understanding of research methods
- Must possess good communication and interpersonal skills
- Available to collect data at any time needed, including morning, afternoon and evening
- Willing to be deployed in all districts of the assessment
- Must be able to speak the local language, and understand English
