Punjab Youth Workforce Development (PYWD) Project, awarded by the United States Agency for International Development, is a three-year project (May 2016- May 2019) that aims to train and provide employment for youth in Multan, Lodhran, Muzaffargarh and Bahawalpur districts in South Punjab. The PYWD project, in coordination with public and private institutions, will provide vocational training and create employment opportunities for youth in focus districts of Punjab; build the capacity of youth-serving institutions for skill training and mobilize local communities for youth development. The PYWD project will also support the overarching goals of Punjab Youth Policy.
