Job Description:
M.sc or equivalent with Minimum 12 Years’ relevant Experience.
Candidate able to contribute to the multi-parameter approach of LGS (cores and seismic) by integrating methods of sedimentology, chronostratigraphic, micropaleontology, Palynology and geochemistry. He/she will participate in the interpretation of marine sedimentary recordings in a regional context (hemiplegic, turbiditic, contouritic sedimentation…) and in a global context according to internal and external forcing (eustatic, climatic, pale oceanographic…) and in the quantification of the dynamics of earth-ocean transfers;
He/she will also participate in the development of tools of analysis and interpretation;
In the case of multi-disciplinary projects on habitats/ecosystems and benthic ecology on continental margins, he/she will develop/maintain relations/collaborations with the research unit Deep - Sea Ecosystems.
Foster cross-fertilization and workflow integration between the Petrographic/ Basin history and subsurface disciplines of Geology, Geophysics, Petro physics, Reservoir Engineering and Production Technology, parameters, Analyzing Techniques with QA/QC
Ensuring that appropriate technical assurance of work and deliverables across all geological/ Sedimentological/ Bio stratigraphy/ Palynology areas is performed.
Collect, interpret & review technical data. Generate & review reports & prepare write-up.
Ensure all work is performed according to KPOGCL/ HSEQ/ Environment policies and working practices in a safe and organized manner.
Qualification: MSc-Geology/or Equivalent
Experience: 12 Years
